DIVYA MULKI from Mumbai 931 Days ago

Hi, My name is Divya Mulki and I stay in Mumbai. I met a guy (Chandramohan GR) for marriage in January 2016. His sister accompanied him. The guy works with IBM Bangalore. His family stays in Mangalore, Karnataka. They responded positively for the alliance on the same day In February 2016, my family met his family in Mangalore and fixed the date for the wedding as 9th May 2016. We booked the wedding hall by paying cash Rs 39000/ . Within 3 days his family called and informed that the guy has got a training opportunity in his company for 6 months and he might not get leaves for the marriage...Hence we need to postpone the wedding. We agreed and said lets fix a future date. A month later, they agreed upon a wedding date as 21st December 2016 After the initial meeting in January, we did not speak again. Also he did not share his contact numbers. In the month of August 2016, he called up and said that he is not interested in the marriage. All my family members spoke to him and his family....but no result. Also he said that he is ready to bear any expenses So we told him that we have already booked the marriage hall for 21st Dec 2016 and there will be cancellation charges. He said he is ready to bear the expenses and asked for a letter from the marriage hall company We got the marriage hall booking cancelled and send him by email the scanned copies of the booking receipt, refund receipt along with refund cheque copy. Booking amount shows Rs. 39000/ as booking amount piad. Refund receipt shows Rs. 21000/ as the refund amount post deducting cancellation charges as rs. 18000/ A lot of communication was exchanged, but he he still hasn't reimbursed the cancellation charges amount. In his latest communication, he is asking for pan card copy, my account cheque copy and letter stating all dues has been cleared. Also the sign on letter should match with that of pan card Will send you the entire chain of communication (if required). Need help in this regard since I feel this is
